Technology will soon replace the work we do if we don’t adapt

Times are quickly changing in the workplaces the world over. Organizations are seeking to revamp their profit margins by cost cutting and this means employing technology and laying off workers at that. This trend continues to roll forth as the world seeks to become a global  village. Already, you can now work at the comfort of your home without reporting to the workplace due to technology. You can remain looped on the charades at the workplace on your holiday tour in Diana Beach because of technology. Nano technology is being experimented in the developing world, cloning of sheep has already been successfully done and nothing seems impossible to man. Since mankind has been to the moon and back, nothing is now impossible and everything has become within reach.

We are no longer worlds apart via  ocean or land but all interconnected due to the internet and globalization. Now, the dangers that technology has brought is also being felt by different generations. The jobs that once existed such as  an office messenger  or an office typist have been relegated to the past. If you can’t adapt quickly and reinvent the wheel in our modern day 21st century, you will be shown the door or you will exit out by yourself. The only way to survive  is to upgrade  your skills and education in tandem with the changing times and shifting paradigms of the workplace. Be as it may, we can be grateful for the miracles and wonders of technology in improving health, material comforts and luxuries than ever before. Our lifespan has greatly been multiplied and so has our preoccupation with these electronic gadgets; that our hearts have become past feeling and  so has our ability to carry on a sober conversation become such a daunting task even with closest of friends!
